June Meeting Recap — Mission of Mercy, Suzanne Berman visits, and what’s next
Thank you to everyone who came out to Susan’s Kitchenette on Tuesday, June 30. Full house, full hearts, and real work got done. For those who couldn’t make it, here’s the rundown.
🫶 Mission of Mercy
Tickets are officially in circulation. This is our flagship fundraiser for earthquake relief in Mindanao — every seat filled is a family closer to being rebuilt.
PCC Cultural Center · 4857 Baxter Rd, Virginia Beach
$40 pre-paid · $45 at the door
Door prizes · 50/50 raffle · Community fellowship
✨ Special Guest
We were joined by Suzanne Berman, candidate for Virginia Beach School Board — District 9. She stopped by to introduce herself to the community and share why she’s running. Thank you, Suzanne, for showing up and listening.

Big shout-out to everyone who put their name down to help. We still need hands for Mission of Mercy setup, Friendship Day booth support, and Freedom of Allies logistics. If you missed the meeting but want in — email hello@filamcag.org or sign up at filamcag.org/volunteer.
